Found It!!!

After looking at properties for over a year and visiting several areas, the Lord found us a spot! The amazing thing about Proverbs 3:5-6 is that we don’t have to live according to our own knowledge. That is, we can ‘do the research’ and do our best to make the formed decisions, but we will never know as much as He does. Not having to rely on self-effort is such a peaceful way to live. We offered all our ideas, all our research, and all our desires up to God and said, “But You know best. We trust you.”

January 30th we close on our Quinta- a one-acre, fenced property that boasts some flat terrain, some open, some wooded, lots of flowers, some fruit trees, a creek, a workshop for Micah, and a really nice house. The sellers built it 14 years ago and included the blueprints (unheard of in Cost Rica). With an elevation of 4000 ft, there is a view of the valley of Turrialba. There are large windows throughout the house, for which I am most grateful! We will let you know when it’s ready… we have two extra rooms for visitors!

Now begins the search for our community. We live 15 min from the large city of Turrialba. I have a list of 8 churches to check out. So begins this part of our adventure. We only want to be where we are called to be. And only God knows where is the best fit.
